Artists, nature lovers, change makers – bring your vision to life in a 6-week residency in Land of Enchantment, Spain.
Every season we welcome 3-10 residents to work in community on their practice. You come to the essence of your work, re-align your workflow to the seasonal rhythm, get things done and be inspired by the landscape of Costa da Morte and the fellow-creators in the house.
Every one comes from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds. Our common ground is that we use our creation as a tool for well being social justice, personal transformation, building community and/or ecologic awareness.

Of course you will work on your own dream project. In the gathered moments, each season gives us a different lens for reflection on your practice:
September 21st – November 1st: Autumn weeks. Focus on reflection, rhythm, your vision and practice. What role does intuition have in your practice? How can you include more of your natural cycle into your life creation processes? Include Autumn Equinox and Samhain (Halloween) fire ceremony.
December 21st – February 1st: Winter weeks. Focus on your foundation, not only whát you create, but especially how you create – how sustainable is your practice, what is your relationship to discipline, your own health and rhythm? Include the 12 holy nights in silence, Winter solstice and Imbolc ceremony.
March 21st – May 1st Spring weeks. How can you allow more play, co-creation & experimentation in your practice? Courage. Inner strength. Humour. Include Spring Equinox and Beltane ceremony.

Our rustic home is close to many beaches of la Costa da Morte, cliffs, lighthouses and rivers. The property is on a land of 1 acre surrounded by forrest on the edge of a little village in province A Coruña. The house has four double bedrooms (three private bedrooms with double beds and one shared bedroom with two one person beds) with a shared mosaic nature bathroom, a wild camping place, a bell tent, compost toilet, outdoor shower and plenty of space to park your van.

The best way to travel is by car, so that you are free to explore the surroundings. The place is 6 km from the nearest town with supermarket/public transport.

✦ Fly to Airports of A Coruña or Santiago de Compostela (1 hour from our home). Porto is also possible, that is 3 hours by car.
From A Coruña or Santiago it is 1 hour by car, or you can take the bus to Ponteceso (via Carballo), the closest village to our house. This is bellow 10 euros. We will advise you the best route and can take a look with you for the hour schedules.

Prices include use of the workshop space, shared bathroom and kitchen. It is excl. food and drinks, we take care of the cooking together.
This is an alcohol and drug free home.
* If you choose to stay 12 weeks, the second part of the residency will be self-organised and will probably be more silent to superfocus on your project. You can also choose to come back in another season.
